Overview: Mitsuhiko, Ayumi, and Genta hide in the lockers where the criminals confine their hostages. The criminals attempt to call the hostage's home for ransom but is answered by a young man. Concluding their plan to be a failure, they opt to set the building ablaze to hide the evidence. Conan communicates to the Detective Boys by tapping his detective badge, and orders them to call their cellphones to lure the criminals out of the room. After doing so, Conan incapacitates one of the criminals and tricks the other one into fleeing the building. The second criminal is then knocked out by Subaru Okiya who picks up the kids and reveals the kidnappe to be Agasa. Subaru reveals he deduced Agasa's situation from observing the house and receiving the ransom phone call and had tracked the kids down using Conan's spare glasses. Meanwhile, Agasa reveals he tapped the 2-5-2 purely by coincidence while hoping others would notice.
